Sport Fit Bowie Tennis Rules & Regulations

Court Reservation Rules:

Only Passport members may reserve up to 7 days in advance. Court bookings made 1-7 days in advance must pay the court fee of $36/hr/ct. Advance reservations must be cancelled 24 hours prior to the reservation to avoid a cancellation fee. Cancellations made after 24 hours prior to the reservation will result in the forfeiture of all fees paid for that reservation.

Today bookings may only be made by Passport Members. Today bookings can be made starting at 5:00am on the day of the booking on the day of the booking. Each member playing must be a Passport member to qualify for free same day court time. Every player playing in any given Today Booking must be identified and invited by the player making the booking. Failure to identify and invite all other players when making a booking, can result in an immediate cancellation of the booking without notice. Today bookings may be cancelled at any time, without penalty. Effective June 1st, 2023, anyone self booking a today singles or doubles court, but does it as an Advanced booking or Today Xtra booking, WILL NOT RECEIVE A REFUND. Instead, a credit to your Sport Fit account will be issued to use in the future.

Today Bookings are limited to 1 hour for singles or 1.5 hours for doubles.

TodayXtra bookings may be made by any Passport member, in increments of 60 or 90 minutes, at the rate of $18 for 30 minutes ($36/hour). TodayXtra may be made in addition to any free time included with the Passport membership. There is no refund for fees paid for TodayXtra courts.

Members may play, but not book, longer at no charge, if the courts are not booked behind them.

Each individual member may only play the length of time per day allowed. They may not reserve 1 hour with their name and 1 hour in their partners name. They may not book singles back to back in order to play doubles for an extra 30 minutes. They may play, but not book, more as long as they are not preventing another member that has not had a court reservation that day from playing.

Members do not each individually have the right to book their hour or hour and a half.

Daily court-time is the time a member actually plays, not who booked the court. i.e: Four players playing doubles have all used up their reservation regardless of who booked the court.

Every player playing in any given Today Booking must be identified and invited by the player making the booking. Failure to identify and invite all other players when making a booking, can result in an immediate cancellation of the booking without notice. All players must check-in at the front desk. Repeated violations of this rule can result in suspension or revocation of your booking privileges

Guests must be approved in advance by a Membership Advisor, and the reserving member will be charged any unpaid guest fees. If the guest will be playing tennis, payment will also be required for the guest's portion of the court fees, as court fees are not included with the guest fee. A member must provide full name, address, D.O.B., phone number, and email address for each guest. The guest fee is $20/guest/day.

Violations of any of the booking policies can result in a suspension or revocation of booking privileges.

Sport Fit Bowie - Refund Policies:

Courts:
Today reservations may be cancelled at any time, without penalty. TodayXtra Courts must be cancelled no later than 8 hours prior to the reservation time to avoid a cancellation fee. Advance reservations must be cancelled no later than 24 hours prior to the reservation to avoid a cancellation fee. Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the reservation will result in the forfeiture of all fees paid for that reservation. Errors by the user in making court bookings will not refunded, however credit can be issued on a case by case basis.

Leagues:
Costs include a non-refundable $10 fee. Cancellations made 7+ days prior to the league start date will receive a full refund, minus the $10 non-refundable fee. "No Shows" and cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the league start date will not be entitled to a refund. Cancellation requests must be made via email to the Tennis Director.

Group Tennis Lessons:
Costs include a non-refundable $10 fee. Cancellations made 7+ days prior to the clinic start date will receive a full refund, minus the $10 non-refundable fee. "No Shows" and cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the clinic start date will not be entitled to a refund. Cancellation requests must be made via email to the Tennis Director.

Private Tennis Lessons:
Generally, refunds will be made for all unused Private Tennis Lesson Sessions. However, if a scheduled session time is cancelled by the participant with less than 24 hours notice to the tennis pro, there shall be no refunds. Cancellation requests must be made in person or via email to the tennis pro.

Summer Tennis Camps:
Payment in due full at the time of booking. Cancellations requests must be submitted to the Tennis Director by email at least 14 days in advance of the camp week start date and will be assessed a cancellation fee of $150 per child, per week.

Sport Fit Bowie - Liability & Photograph Waiver:

Program Liability Waiver: I hereby, for myself, heirs, and executors waive and release any and all rights and claims for any losses or damages against any Sport Fit facility, employee, agent, representative, successor, and assign for any and all injuries which may be suffered in the association with participation in this program, assuming all risks, known and unknown.

Program Photo Release Waiver: I understand that a photo, video, audiotape, or other image taken, captured, or recorded of me may be used for promotional purposes and I hereby release Sport Fit Bowie from any and all claims and demands whatsoever arising out of or connected with the said photo, video, audiotape or other image in consideration for value received. Furthermore, I agree that once taken or recorded, the photo, video, audiotape, or other image of me becomes the exclusive property of Sport Fit and their successors in business. I hereby irrevocably consent to and authorize the use and reproduction of my image by Sport Fit without further compensation by me.
